second stay here and just as good as first time...so will definitely stay again. The apartments are well thought out, spacious. clean, comfortable and well equipped. despite being above a shopping mall its a quiet location, away from the hubbub of the front but still offers lovely mountain views and sea glimpses.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable. The turn down service and putting the room heating on was amazing for when I got back.

Craig and Paul make this place! If you're looking for a super lux experience, then this is the place for you! They are on top of every detail and they both go out of their way for you. The breakfast was fantastic and any little extras needed, they were there. The property is fully secure and the sunrises are amazing from the balcony are amazing. The parking is secure and there's a bell, and then Craig comes to open the door. It's common sense as a 24 hour security guard isn't required but the property is still fully secure.
One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because of the gym facilities. There was no treadmill or dumbells and these gents organised the dumbells over night.

We went to Hermanus for whale watching, and although we did get to see whales from the boat it wasn't great (and was expensive ) we had better sightings in Mossell Bay (from the beach) and in Capetown on our way to Robben Island. It is a nice friendly little town

Stunning location! Wonderful staff!
Stunning location! Wonderful staff! This ranks as one of my favourite hotels ever! Overlooking the bay where whales blow and breech before your very eyes. We were privileged to have stayed in room 226 which has a small balcony with seats! We spent several pleasurable hours watching south right whales frolicking in the bay! Amazing, emotional, spectacular - I run out of superlatives. Wonderfully comfortable hotel with kind, attentive staff and so thoughtful when you’ve got a celebration to share. Huge ‘shout out’ to Bianca Goosen, one of the senior staff members who made sure our stay was memorable! And it so was! Thank you!

I always enjoy Hermanus, whatever the weather and season.
I always enjoy Hermanus, whatever the weather and season. Whale season is of course most exciting and we managed to spot whales in two locations. I also enjoy travelling beyond Hermanus to the pretty village of Stanford (about 20 minutes) and on to De Kelders for more whale spotting and the beautiful nature reserve. Hermanus has great coffee shops, art shops, restaurants and a spectacular cliff path, safe and easy to walk, that goes on for some distance. Also the nature reserve above the town, which offers short or longer hiking with stunning views and spring flowers. Easy to drive around the town and park.

The view from our apartment, friendly and helpful staff.
The view from our apartment, friendly and helpful staff. We got information about the surroundings and how to get to the apartment before the time. The sunsets are amazing. Easy to get to the Mall and lovely places to walk and try and spot whales.
A truly wonderful guest house to stay in with natural light, bang on the rocky beach where one hears the sea all night. It offers a great balcony with a braai, comfortable chairs and table and a perfect sea view. Every gadget that can make you feel at home right down to a full spice rack. The apartment was beautifully clean and comfortable. One can do a little walk on the rocky beach. Sadly it is not within walking distance of Hermanus itself but next to the abalone factories with, at times, some acrid smells. Safe parking.
The hotel itself is really stunning, and so different to anywhere else in Hermanus. We were on our Honeymoon and although we were never told, we are pretty sure we were given a bigger and better room, it was huge and so beautiful. Really appreciated! We were leaving to go on a trip early and were able to have a breakfast platter brought to our room - it was incredible, as was the breakfast in the usual place. Definitely recommend!
Great location in Hermanus waterfront above a coffee shop
Easy check-in & check-out process at the hotel
Assistance with getting luggage to the room on arrival
Spacious and sunny room; comfortable beds
We forgot items in the room and were called to collect them
Incredible service from the staff at the hotel, who did everything to help us hire adventures such as whale watching. Jason, in reception, was a true professional. If I go back to Hermanus, I will repeat in the same hotel for sure!
Because we were in Hermanus to visit family, we needed the hotel as a place to sleep. The beds were comfortable and clean, tea and coffee in the bedroom was great. Breakfast met our requirements nicely served.
