With river views, Klaserie Sands River Camp is located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve and has free WiFi. Located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve in the Mpumalanga region, Xanatseni Private Camp has accommodations with free WiFi. Xanatseni exceeded our expectation. Daniel (ranger) and Sydney (tracker) did terrific job in finding animals and birds for us. We saw many creatures including the Big five and African wild dogs which are said to be rarely seen. The young lady sitting at front desk and looking after guests' needs (sorry, we cannot spell your name correctly) was very attentive so we felt personalized service. It is an advantage of staying at a place which sleeps 10 people at most. The camp is very clean, cosy and has modern facilities. Its huge bath room has a rainshower and a big bath tub. It is reasonably priced when compared with other lodges in the area.
Senalala Luxury Safari Camp is located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. The camp overlooks a waterhole and features thatched chalet accommodations, a viewing deck, and outdoor fireplace (or boma). Lovely place and staff with excellent attention to detail and an intimate, homey feel. Enjoyed lounging in the afternoons on the deck overlooking the watering hole, watching animals stop for a drink. Each game drive was a bit different and our guides made (successful) efforts to get us animal sightings we hadn’t yet had. Delicious meals and mid-game-drive snacks. Hard to beat the inclusion of self service drinks (coffee, tea, wine, beer, etc.) at the central communal space for making the whole experience feel like a real treat. Senalala really checked all the boxes for us and paired well with our days of self-driving through Kruger National Park.

Located in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, nThambo Tree Camp is a small and intimate camp. It features a thatched lounge area with bar and a splash pool. We really enjoyed our stay at nThambo. The setup is so unusual - tents make you feel much closer to the nature than in a typical game lodge, but without sacrificing any of the comfort. The crew is wonderful - friendly hardworking guys, made sure we saw lots of animals on every game drive - buffalo, lions, leopard, hyenas, all kinds of antelopes and birds... you can go on foot, too (with a ranger), if you want. Meals were delicious and we enjoyed a lot of personal attention, this being a small property, only 8 guests. Highly recommended

Located 16 mi from Hoedspruit, Ndabushi Lodge and Kruger Park Safaris offers accommodations set on the banks of the Klaserie River. Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is 8.7 mi away. The staff and the owners have given the utmost difficulty of reading each other's eyes. Great experiences create, like eg dinners in the middle of the Bush. The tours you organized for us were excellent.
All aspects of our stay were utterly enjoyable including the friendly, yet professional and reliable manner in which our booking was managed. Furthermore, the warm welcome and hospitality conveyed by the entire Senalala team makes this a special place to stay. Our hats off to our guide Darryn (and Lize) whose enthusiasm and passion were a joy - What amazing game viewing and African landscape we were treated to. We are so Thankful to you all for the experience you provided and the good laughs during our stay. Senalala comes highly recommended.
Arranging for a pick up from the airport was a great start to our stay with the nDzuti Safari Camp. The food that the staff prepared was wonderful. And our hosts and game rangers, Judy and Bruce, packed a cooler for the evening game drive with your choice of cocktail for a terrific "sun-downer". What an experience sitting watch two male lions stretch out as the sun was setting and we were feet away having a glass of S. African wine with no chance of encountering another human being. You have to experience that for yourself!

Wonderful small camp, familiar atmosphere, great wildlife viewing, wonderful food and service. The long hikes in the morning with a knowledgeable guide made for an unforgettable experience and were complemented by great drives in the evening with lots and lots of wildlife encounters. The camp seems to attract more down-to-earth guests than 'safari adventure tourists', which was great. We will come back at some point for sure.
