Lovely scenery although getting there you drive through...
Lovely scenery although getting there you drive through squatters. However, centrally located and close to all facilities and activities. Lovely restaurant called La Lampara with great service and food. Highgate wine estate picnic was a great family activity. We loved the cottage.
We loved the cottage. It was just what we needed, pity it was just for 2 nights, Hopefully next time it will be longer. The river below was in full flow due to all the recent rains and more while we were there. We took a walk down to have a closer look. Lidgetton in general is one of the nicer areas to travel...
Lidgetton in general is one of the nicer areas to travel through on the Midlands Meander. There are lots of shops close together and some very nice restaurants available. They are very spacious and decorated upmarket with their own seating area. The king bed is so comfortable with lovely pillows and good quality white linen. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower and also modern fittings. The hotel itself has a lovely dining area, bar and the staff are super friendly and on point. The food was amazing!
