So grateful to have found a place that was not only clean and neat, but also peaceful and comforting. The room was perfect — warm, inviting, and just what my mom needed after long, emotional days. She stayed here under difficult circumstances, as my dad had to be moved to the nearby hospital. What truly stood out was the kindness and compassion of the host. Julie's Cottage was quick to respond to questions and communications. The key collection was smooth (done by my partner by arrangement as I was unavailable). The property was clean, neat and had a cute garden in the front. The room itself had a small balcony with a metal table and chairs, which served well for drinking a cup of coffee in the morning. The room itself was clean, well laid out and had cupboard space available. The bed was firm and comfy with more than enough duvet for the bed size. Pillows were also very well stuffed. I was confounded for a bit by the tap in the shower where the indicator didn't match the water temperature but with a 50/50 shot, I did manage to get a lovely hot shower with a big shower head (the rain type) - just what I needed! Key handover when we left was quick and efficient. Meeting their little ginger cat as we left was a great bonus - what a sweetie! While we did not stay long, we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
