Built in 1846, this elegant hotel is a 5-minute walk from Santos beach and overlooks Mossel Bay Harbour. It offers a terrace and a pool, both with Indian Ocean views. The hotel is very well located. We were very welcomed by Alfonso and Bambi, and both of them were kind and warm. The room fits our necessities and also does the bathroom. The restaurant was a good experience - we were tired to go somewhere else and it was a good surprise to have a good place to eat inside the hotel.

Very unique experience in an old SA train. Do not expect it to be the Rovos Rail, as some visitors do. This a perfect value for money

Offering direct access to the beach, Bay Lodge is located in Bay View. The guest house offers indoor BBQ area and free WiFi is available in the public areas. We stayed only 1 night and the ocean view rooms were not available. We chose to stay at a pool view family room and it was gorgeous. So I can’t imagine how beautiful are the ocean view rooms :) It was my husband’s birthday and the staff helped me for a little surprise of cake. Everything was perfect. The cake was exactly how I wanted to. The view from the hotel patio is just great. Breakfast was delicious and the view makes it more precious :)

Mossel Bay is a great base to stay and explore the hotel had its faults but would stay there again. The reception staff were great just a pity some of the rest of the staff weren't up to the same standard
Mossel Bay is very popular and during peak holiday seasons it is over crowded - so try and avoid. other times of the year it is a very pleasant and definitely worth a visit. It is easy to walk about. Make sure you visit the harbor side where you will find amazing restaurants and eateries. The zipline is a must! People are friendly.
I love the place a lot. It was like oversea. It was comfortable to walk and look at the different places. Most restaurants and cafe are few and going to Mall is bit far. We had to buy take aways from outside the shop. The Mossel Bay place is very great and you will enjoy a lot..
We went to Mossel Bay on our way down to Cape Town, whilst we were there we played Pinnacle Point Golf Course which was absolutely amazing. We ate at The Gannet which is well worth a visit plus there is a Gin Bar next door
We enjoy the beaches. The water was cold, but comfortable. Some of the beaches accommodate braais and have changing facilities. Our favorite place was The Point as it has a lot of steps for exercise. Beautiful view points too! We mostly made use of take away food like Spar, Romans pizza and MacDonald's. If you have a car, it is very easy to get around Mossel Bay.
The town itself is not very modern, and some , however the waterfront is a nice place for a walk. The lighthouse is very interesting, and the staff exceptionally helpful. The gannet restaurant is great for food and wine, although if you do not like children running around, avoid.
Mossel Bay
Loved the view from the room. Room was very neat & clean. Always saw a staff member nearby. Across the whole concern staff was most friendly and eager to assist & help. Even though the shower & toilets are shared per couch visitors, it was always clean. Stepping off the coach and within 20 steps I was on the beach. Most stunning view ever. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit daily Loved the food my favorite dinner was the curry
Mossel Bay
Andrea is very welcoming and provides recommendations on things to do in the area. The room is not self catering, you are however provided with essentials should you bring home food (takeaways) and want to warm it, the room has a coffee station, bar fridge and microwave with crockery and cutlery. Stunning place, will highly recommend, wish we stayed longer.
Mossel Bay
Loved staying at Santos Beach Pavillion! The place is fully equipped with all the amenities you can need, and the hosts are extremely accommodating. Being on the beach and sleeping to the sound of crashing waves is priceless! Highly recommended and will definitely be back.
Mossel Bay
The location is ideal right next to the waterpark and on the beach-front, and views from the balcony are exceptional. I would recommend booking a corner unit on the left-side of the building as bedrooms in the "inner" units don't have any views.
Mossel Bay
Very comfortable room with a huge comfortable bed. Very good air conditioning. Nice bathroom, very clean. Very good breakfast. Ample parking at both the front and rear of the hotel. Polite, very professional staff. Nice views over Mossel Bay and beaches
Must be one of the best located hotels in SA. We didn't like the first room allocated to us but the front desk manager gave us another with no fuss. Right in the old town beach area in MBay Good breakfast
Mossel Bay
The hosts were warm, welcoming and attentive to our every need. Beautiful views over the Mossel Bay harbour. Fabulous breakfast. Spacious room with comfortable bed and crisp clean linen.
I have always stayed at Oceans Hotel and enjoy my stay every time. I am always made to feel welcome and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay there again.

The Location. We could walk on the beach for kilometres. The breakfast ver well prepared and an extra bonus - weather permitting - if you can enjoy outside on the patio.
