Charming oasis perfectly located to explore the town of Prince Albert by foot. The cottage was thoughtfully prepared and equipped with all we needed for our stay - little things such as milk, firewood & starters were made available. Comfortable bed, luxurious bath, lovely garden setting to enjoy the sunset and cosy fireplace were just some of the features that made our stay most enjoyable. The communication with host was excellent and on-going from the time we booked to our departure - thank you Elize!

Inga and Albert are attentive and friendly hosts. Albert showed us around when we arrived and also recommended a hiking trail and restaurants. They have a lovely property and we would certainly choose to stay there again! (of the 3 Prince Albert establishments we stayed in during April and June of 2022, this one is our first choice for future stays if we book for bed and breakfast and not self catering). Inga prepared a delicious breakfast - refer to their photos for the breakfasts and view.

Breakfast was not included which was told up front. Peter was there when we arrived and the accommodation was ready for us to move into. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and Peter was an excellent host. The quietness is fantastic and the position excellent. Only a 5 minute drive to the town centre. Prince Albert is a quaint little village with the most friendly people, who chat to you without hesitation. We will definitely come back to stay on our next trip. Beryl & Harry

Absolutely charming two bed-roomed cottage very close to town and all amenities. Nice and clean, very tastefully decorated, well designed, spacious, indoor log burner, lovely kitchen with everything you would need for self catering, fabulous little entertainment area with splash pool, barbecue, deck chairs and outdoor dining table. We really enjoyed our stay at Elfen house and would highly recommend this property to any tourists visiting Prince Albert!

Hospitality at Saxe Coburg was very good. We were made to feel very comfortable The accommodation was also very good. Comfortable and meeting all our needs and expectations. The breakfast, while not initially booked, was very good. The town has good restaurants. We ate at the Swartberg Hotel. Hospitality and service was good. The food was excellent. Galleries and shops are conveniently located, all within easy walking distance.

The location is BEAUTIFUL. Prince Albert is such a special town and this property is such a gorgeous piece of it. If you haven't been to Prince Albert, you have to go! Johann is such an amazing host and the dam and pool are SO WONDERFUL. The views are really spectacular from the property. We were a group of 8 and we had the best 4 night stay. We didn't even do all there is to do in Prince Albert. Highly recommend. :-)

Don't look any further. The Olive Thrush Cottage is fantastic! It is spectacularly clean, well thought out, cosy and charming. From the heater and electric blankets in the bedroom, to firewood and milk and rusks, all comforts have been thought about. I liked the secured parking. The town is cute and there is a Spar just a short distance from the cottage. We had a lovely dinner at the hotel in front of the fire.

We absolutely loved our stay at Vergeet My Niet! The property is well located close to the town center, however offers the tranquility and scenery of a country getaway. The cottage was well appointed, beautifully decorated and clean. Hosts Hans & Marina are warm & friendly, and really made us feel welcome. So glad we discovered this gem in Prince Albert. We look forward to our next stay at Vergeet My Niet 🙌

Beautiful lodging - if you love history - this place was built in the 1800’s and was restored beautifully - keeping parts of history to showcase, please read the info in the booklet- the interior is tasteful and gorgeous! The attention to detail impeccable. All walking distance to the main road and the Swartberg Hotel. The reception was warm and welcoming - we will be back for sure!

Their electricity backup system made current South Afrucan loadshedding problem almost irrelevant. Conveniently situated in the centre of the small town it is quick and safe to explore stores and restaurants on foot. Yet there is a good size secluded swimming pool in the garden. An excellent full breakfast menu that matched standards in a top class hotel.

Wow what a lovely surprise The Prince Albert suite was awesome ... top quality finishes really worth every cent we paid! The gardens are from out of this world not even talking about the Chicken Hotel ... ye, you read correctly. Everything was done with so much passion The breakfast was a feast to say the least Thank you it was amazing!!!

Very convenient and quiet location. Very accommodating & friendly hosts. We received sufficient information about the town Prince Albert and therefore could plan what to do during our stay.We'll be back! We will recommend this establishment to friends & family.

The hosts being away, we couldn't met them. Nevertheless, we spend 2 nights in Prince Albert : charming little town with a very nice Art Gallery. Good place to stay on. We would recommend for people who are on the garden tour though the Swarberg pass.

Relaxing stay in beautiful guest farm in the Karoo not so far away from Prince Albert. Very quite and peaceful with a clear view of all the night sky and stars. Guesthouse very cozy and firewood provided for fireplace on a cool evening.

Centrally located on Church Street in Prince Albert. Stylish rooms & cottages, discreetly separated within the pretty garden. The owner/manager Johan is friendly & responsive.

Everything excellent, the accommodation is exceptional and Lynne-Marie made us feel very welcome. Location is perfect and Prince Albert really impressed us. We will be back soon!

Accommodation is well situated in town allowing you to walk to all the best Prince Albert has to offer.

Loved the location on outskirts of town. Very well equipped for self catering and very quiet at night.
