I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff. I wish you can improve on your breakfast, put more effort on it and also use nice tasty sausage. I couldn’t use the phone in the room to make phone calls to the reception so I had to use mine which was not fair. The food at the restaurant was delicious and I didn’t even have to go out. Queenstown is, unfortunately, an absolute dump ! Driving straight through in order to reach your destination, would be considered as being in Queenstown too long ! I don't have enough words to describe how disgusted I was with the place, however, this is becoming the norm throughout South Africa. Council mismanagement is blatantly obvious and I see no reason why it would get any better in the near future ! It is a small town and there is nothing to do besides visit relatives and go to the only nightclub in the town. I would not consider it to be a vacation town you go there because there is a conference or family event that you are attending. The historic buildings were beautiful, and the informal market traders were very customer-centric, going out of their way to ensure we had a great experience i.e. carwash and trader selling African beads (we noted this because the formal businesses we interacted with were very unpleasant i.e. spur). Try the restaurant at the casino you will not regret it, it is affordable and the food is delicious.
