This place is an absolute gem in a remote and very beautiful valley. It was definitely a great experience to stay here for a night on my way to the Karoo. One of the most beautiful places I stayed at in South Africa.

    The simplicity of the (hartbeeshuisie) cottage is appropriate and you it feels as if you are going back in time. What a wonderful experience if you love nature and you can do without your thick mattress and your Le Creuset cups and television. The hostess, Adri brings wood for your fire and freshly baked cakes and milk tarts that are available to you as well as her knowledge of the area brings falvour to the experience.
