Hola Valen, Colonia del Sacramento is a beautiful colonial city. It is 180 km from Mdeo. But it depends if you're more from the coast and Punta Del Diablo or La Paloma beaches. Or you stay in Montevideo and travel smoothly to different places along the coast and inland.

I'm from Montevideo. there are very nice places in Uruguay. As they called you east tip, Colonia del Sacramento, rocha are very touristic places. Personally, I like piriapolis that has beaches and is very cute and another place that is beautiful and very quiet are the arapey baths in the jumping department. Have a good trip!

Valen, a few years ago I went all over the coast of Rocha, pay attention to the beaches of Punta Del Diablo and Santa Teresa, if you walk nearby I recommend you visit them, I really liked them. And if you're looking for peace, Barra de Valizas and Cabo Polonio are ideal.

Hi Valen I'm from Uruguay and lover of beaches I'm sure Punta del Este is one of the most attractive spas and the most serviced. But there are also several more economical and very dysfunctional resorts for family travel. From La Floresta with Agus tranquils, Costa Azul with a beautiful view, Balnerio Argentino, Santa Ana Cuchilla Alta Before you get to Piriapolis you have Playa Verde Playa Hermosa and Playa Grande
All these spas are less than 90 km/h from Montevideo the capital If you like the most Puntadel Este movement and before you arrive you will pass Punta Ballena and Portezuelo and with a bit more glamour after Punta del Este José Ignacio-More east you ask to follow route 9 that leads you to different resorts in Rocha - Among them La Paloma, La Pedrera, Punta del Diablo, Cabo Polonio, Barras de Valizas Santa Teresa (here it is more for camping or walking as there is no great offer of accommodation) - All these beaches are oceanic shores and for the side of Cologne there are several water spas from Rio de la Plata. Greetings and if you come welcome to Uruguay!!!
