I WALK FOR THE FIRST TIME TO CUBA AND HOPE GOOD NEXT

I arrived on November 5th in Havana. I'm three days away and I start a tour of Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Santa Clara, maybe Varadero... I'm going back to Havana for the last few days. I hear all the suggestions to take advantage of my stay in the best way.

Hi: I just got back from Cuba, great trip.
In Cienfuegos you are recommended to the house "Hostal Plaza" or "Hostal Deysi & Paquito". Great places to enjoy your stay in that beautiful city.
You can also call Bicitaxi +5352452354 and give you an interesting city tour at a modified price...
Enjoy!

Hi, I live in a viñales. I have a Casita de nelffis rental house in a privileged location just 50m away. From the central avenue where you are located you will have easy access to the main private businesses that are forming the new physiology of the Cuban capital, as well as easy access to other important areas such as the historic quarter – a World Heritage Site – and as hosts we offer our guests all the information necessary for their stay in Cuba. In addition, we can offer different tours of local guides, coordinate excursions or visits to other provinces. We also have a Smartphone that we make available with maps and extremely useful applications for you to explore the city on your own. If you like, we can still negotiate the rent on a telephone line. Our interest will always be to make you take a picture.

Change your money at the airport in the hip, you'd rather do it there sometimes in the Cadeca of the cities, they make trouble if the ticket isn't so new or has some stamp, but at the airport it's a machine. If you need specific food or you're not a warrior with the food better take what you need in your suitcase, you can get several rich things at local currency prices but I've heard a lot of people complaining about the "little variety" patience and enjoy the trip to Cuba is beautiful!!

Good afternoon, I was in Cuba in 2017 and my itinerary was 25 days in total, I tell you for what it's worth:
When I got to Havana I went straight to the bus terminal and took a bus to Varadero, there with 2 days this is more than good, from there we go to Santiago de Cuba, with 3 or 4 days you walk it without problems (long distance transport is not good, you have to know it before you).
From there we go to Santa Clara, it's a small town, but don't stop visiting the Mausoleum of Che for the world and let the people there talk, it's exciting. Then we took a taxi to the Keys of the Witches, which is the most economical and we spent a day.
Our next stop was in Trinidad, don't stop visiting, it's beautiful, 4 days you'll be fine and you can visit Ancon Beach, it's very nice and you'll take a taxi there.
From Trinidad we went to Viñales (both Levisa Cay and Jutias are worth knowing) where you will be able to see the tobacco plantations and walk them.
Our final trip in Havana, spend at least 4/5 days (I agree, if you can stay in Old Havana, much better), is very beautiful and is where you will eat best.
Our experience was all in the family home (hostels), the only hotel we went to was in Key Las Bruges, and it is wonderful to be able to interact with each host. It's true that the food issue gets complicated and quite complicated, especially if you have a particular diet.
Moving isn't easy either, and being a tourist they're gonna want to pass you by more than once, so you have to pay attention like anywhere else, but the security that's amazing, no one's gonna touch you or steal you, that you can just relax.
Whatever you need, crackpot.
Enjoy your trip.
