HOW TO GET A REFUND FOR STAYS RELATED TO THE COVID 19 VIRUS

To protect the health of our partners and guests from coronavirus, we've declared Force Majeure/Forced Circumstances.
At https://Booking.com, the safety of our partners and guests is of the utmost importance. Due to official travel advice for the coronavirus, guests are unable to travel to or stay at accommodations located in areas severely affected by the recent coronavirus outbreak. Travel throughout certain areas is heavily impacted or prohibited at this time.
In addition, a number of international travel restrictions have been placed on travelers who were recently in areas severely affected by the coronavirus (within the last 14 days, in most cases). These restrictions—currently implemented in over 60 countries—include bans on entry, mandatory quarantine on arrival, or the suspension of on-arrival visas.
We expect you to refund any prepayments and waive cancellation costs (e.g. fees, expenses, and/or other amounts) in situations where guests/travelers requested cancellations as a result of the Forced Circumstances (FC). https://Booking.com will waive the commission in these cases.
1. f a guest wants to cancel or modify their reservation dates through our site, self-service tool, or Customer Service, we'll facilitate completion of that action.
2. By using the self-service app, guests can cancel the reservation themselves without additional actions from either the property or https://Booking.com.
3. If a guest reaches out to your property to request a cancellation or rescheduling of their reservation, you can handle this yourself. There's no need to refer guests to our Customer Service. Info on how to handle these reservations can be found here.
We'll continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety of all partners and guests, and will update this communication regularly.
