Spending money in Japan

Hi, I'm going to Japan in May-June and I was wondering.
Is 300.000 yen enough for a 24 day trip? I've got all my hotels sorted out and my train tickets.
I'll be going to Tokyo, Osaka and then finally Kyoto.
Bonus question, does anyone know of any good knife shops in Japan? I'm a chef and I want to buy a good knife.

I think your budget is quite enough, if you’re not going to shopping. The cost per meal is about 1,000-2,000 yen per person.

About Kitchenware:
In Tokyo, let check kappabashi near Asakusa.
In Osaka, let check Sennichimae Doguyasuji Near Namba.

There seemed to be a number of knife stores in a Kyoto. save the locations to your google maps and if you are nearby them it will cut down the search times when you get there.

Food is very reasonably priced. So yes your 300,000 is enough.
