Travelling from Malta International Airport to Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands

We will be traveling from airport and will like to know about taxi fare to resort. Also where can I get the bus pass? Also is it worth it to take the tour to gozo? or just take the ferry there? Any info will be appreciated as I will be there from Oct 4 to 13, 2019. Anyone traveling those dates? Thanks

check www.maltatransport.com/mt for explorer card. This is a bus pass for unlimited travel. Buy the bus pass in advance right at the airport. In that case you can avoid taking a taxi. If you book the taxi in advance you have to pay at least €22 from the airport to the hotel whilst the bus is €2.20 per person. The bus pass is valid for Malta and Gozo alike. However, the frequency of buses is once an hour in Gozo. Perhaps you can take the hop on hop off bus here in Gozo which is €17 per person per day. A cheaper option is to rent a scooter right at the habor in Gozo and follow either the red or green tour buses and nobody will charge you for being a follower.

You can take a taxi as well. to the Radison it costs about 25€. You can order and pay the taxi at the exit of the airport building

For me, the best taxi solution to move around Malta is taxify. It works just like UBER - you download the app, and move around freely. It's cheaper than classical white cabs, and cheaper than ecabs as well.

Taxify is no longer in Malta. Bolt has taken over. I’ve used them and they’re ok but eCabs is better although slightly more expensive but much more professional drivers and cars x

Hi, As others recommended, taxify is very good. You can buy your bus pass from the airport, the bus stop is just outside the airport, and you could make very good use of it(bus pass). I do suggest the tour to Gozo, most definitely. Also what I suggest doing is, if the weather permits... Visiting Valletta catching the ferry from Sliema, as you get to see part of the city which obviously you will never get to see if you catch the bus. You can get a 1 (one way ticket) and catch the bus back or vice versa. from Valletta (where the ferry stops from Sliema, you can get another ferry which would take you to the three Cities. So much to see and do if planned well. :) Hope you enjoy it.
