I booked a 4 night stay for Ocean City, Maryland for June back in early January through https://Booking.com Now with the Corona epidemic, I can't get a refund! It is a non-refundable booking but, I wasn't expecting Corona Virus epidemic before my vacation plans either! Anyone has any suggestions? I can't change my reservations! The hotel refuses to give any refunds because it was booked by https://Booking.com. So, you mean to tell me I've lost $1,000.00 of MY money?! I want to know who I can contact to get a REFUND! This really stinks! Neither hotel nor https://Booking.com is accommodating at all!

Im having the same problem! I booked a hotel in LA in September 2019 which was also non-refundable. I contacted the hotel about this, clearly theres no way I can make it to the trip with the pandemic, and they told me they were offering free-cancellations but I needed to contact https://Booking.com. 2 days later I get an email from https://Booking.com saying my requested free cancellation was accepted. But nothing about a refund!

I have the same problem. The SoBe12 hotel is not respecting booking policies of Forced circumstances: “who have subsequently been banned from entering the country they intended to travel to”. And Booking doesn't answer anything.
I want my money back!

I had reservations for San Francisco and New York. They charged me something at the hotel in New York. I hope they'll return it, since the cancellation was free and on time.

I had to cancel, Hotel Miami had booked for today, but I never book a room with non-refundable and always paid locally. Whether Corona or any other incident occurs to me, it's too risky. I would write down the hotel and ask for an exception to cancel the room

I contacted Global Luxury Suites 15 days before my check in. I emailed over 24 time, i called over 10 times. Their website states due to Covid-19 stays under 21 days cancel up to 48hr before check in. I thought great no problem, WRONG!!!!!!
They reply that if they can RE RENT the unit, they will issue credit for future stay. I go back and check https://booking.com, they (Global Luxury) show they have no 2 bedroom units available for those dates, WELL THEN HOW CAN THEY RE RENT IF IF THEY DON'T PUBLISH THE AVAILABILITY. COMPLETE AND TOTAL SCAM!!!!
