United StatesTLDR: Cute decor, good water pressure & temperature control, comfortable furniture, clean, and very welcoming location; I would definitely try to stay here again if I was ever back in the area.
When looking for a place to stay for my Columbus vacation, I originally had not thought of an Air B&B. My mother actually was the one who checked booking.com and found the lovely Stylish 3BR Historic Charm. I am so glad that she did! There were particular qualities I was looking for in the area that I could not find through the local hotels. The biggest factor is that my family has certain dietary restrictions, so having a little kitchen was a huge relief during our trip. The water pressure was good, and got hot quickly, and the facility provided adequate cookware. Plus, as a coffee snob, I was delighted to have a French Press! (They also have a small Keurig.)
If you like cozy, kitchy, slightly lived-in houses with wooden banisters, creaky floors, and snug living spaces this is definitely a place for you! It was practically perfect for me & my mom.
My concerns about my stay have nothing to do with the property itself, but I will post them here for future clients to take into consideration:
We could hear the neighbors often. Nothing bad or inappropriate; I'm sure we probably bothered them as well, it just took some getting used to hearing people walking around at night while we were trying to sleep. Additionally someone in the area was using marijuana, (unsure if they are a permanent resident or not) which we smelled in our unit on occasion.
Also, while I like a rather spartan location to stay, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. If you are the type of traveler who brings way more than is actually needed, or likes to spread your makeup across a large counter top, the bathroom is very cozy and doesn't have space to accommodate large quantities of products.
