The owner is nice, friendly and communicative. The place is nicely furnished with a collection of vintage furniture and old items. It even has a turntable and some LP records. It is located in a peaceful farm outside of Trelew in a rural place and it seems safer than other options that are within the city. There are friendly dogs in the yard and the Chubut river is just around the corner. We recommend the place.

Janet was ready on time for arrival and departure, and was helpful and friendly. Offstreet parking, wifi, bathroom and towels, bed, kitchen, living room all good and spacious. Well furnished.

Staying at Estancia Tatay was a unique experience for my family. Catalina was a wonderful host, and her property was serene. We loved our time on the ranch, and just wish we had more time to explore and learn about the sheep farming operation. The location was very convenient to our target destination of Punta Tombo (penguins!), as well as the city/town of Trelew, for its food/groceries, airport, and fantastic Dinosaur Museum! If you are looking for a home base for exploring this area, I highly recommend Estancia Tatay. We would be thrilled to return again.
