Very cute cottages in a quiet part of Barossa. We went for our 1st wedding anniversary and arrived as part of a wine tour. The staff were very welcoming, gave us a free wine tasting and allowed us to check in 1 hour early. The room also had a bottle of wine included and it was lovely!

The location was perfect for our needs over Christmas and Boxing Day, close to family, and the kids had fun in the backyard pool. The rooms were spacious, and the air conditioning worked well in the hot weather. We had stayed at the Ambrosia a couple of years before hand for a few nights, we like the style, the kids like the pool, so it seemed a good place to book again. Everything was clean, the kitchen is large, and we liked the inclusion of the games console for games and movies, which we didn't need to use, but a thoughtful touch just in case.

Very pretty location, with facilities for all weather: a nice gazebo, good quality BBQ, and a fire pit on the top of the hill with amazing sunset views. Accommodation is really cozy, with anything one would need. The whole area compound is nicely landscaped, well illuminated, with plenty of carparks. Good as bad equally: It's aged... all the finishes, fixtures, it's like you're travelling in time into the 80s.

    The supplies were excellent, the very old cottage had everything we wanted and had been thoughtfully put together. We didn't realize we were coming to the home of Heritage Winery, and we were doubly pleased with the lovely bottle of Semillon which was in the frig when we arrived.

    Cosy, quiet cottage, on a beautiful property. Steve is a wonderful host . Delicious local produce provided for our breakfast, plus artisan toiletries. Steve's wine was delectable and much appreciated. Great suggestions for meals and sight seeing made our 3 night stay a very enjoyable experience. Thanks again Steve. Carmel
