We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Red Door Strahan. The beautiful spacious terrace and grass area offered a place to relax and breathtaking water views. We were lucky to witness a really beautiful sunset on the first night. At night you can watch the stars. The house itself was modern and stylish with incredibly comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking, including plenty of condiments and thoughtful extras, which made preparing meals a breeze. Every corner of the house was beautifully decorated. We were only three people, so everything was perfect. However, if visiting with six people, sharing one bathroom is something to keep in mind :) The location couldn’t have been better, peaceful and scenic yet conveniently close to local attractions and amenities, and we felt very safe. This was truly a perfect getaway. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable time in Strahan

Situated overlooking the water, we stayed twice; once in the studio and the second time in the house. They are both clean and inviting. walk to the pub and to the jetty the tour boat departs from. The owners are lovely and friendly.

Home was stunning, clean and comfortable situated on beautiful property with wonderful views including night sky. Hosts were exceptional with communication, easy check in, provided many amenities for our comfort including comfortable bedding, towels, pantry and freezer items for breakfast including coffee and tea, vast assortment of kitchen items for meal preparation and a grill which we used. We were able to park our car in the garage, out of the heat, which was lovely. Being on a 6 week trip, use of the washer and dryer were a huge bonus. This accommodation was definitely our favorite during our Tasmania trip.
