Enjoyed the eggs! The location was beautiful!! A nice rural setting - quiet, peaceful, picturesque, close to town, comfortable, quaint, nicely furnish, organized, and well stocked, and well labeled for customers ease.

All around a terrific stay! The home was very comfy (amazing pillows and mattress--I slept so well!), clean, and the gracious hosts really thought of everything. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and they even were very thoughtful in providing coffee, tea, and snacks. Amazing! The location was great, as well. Right next to a walking/biking path and a short drive to downtown Nanaimo, the grocery store, etc. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in Nanaimo, and I hope to return!

    I loved Sue's cottage. I needed a weekend away from the city and this was the perfect location. The cottage itself is very comfortable and everything you need to cook. The bed is super comfortable and I love that I could sit outside next to the fire and watch the wildlife in the ocean. As a bonus, the cabin is close to the Cowichan Valley Trail so I easily biked to Chemainus and Lady Smith. I will definitely stay here again!

    We loved the set up of the house. We really enjoyed spending time on the patio on the comfy furniture watching the sheep, and other animals. It was a very restful spot, very quiet. We adored the fresh eggs and goats milk that were in the fridge. The cottage had what it needed: hot plate, fridge, coffee maker, air fryer/microwave. The shower was really lovely, roomy and lots of hot water. We enjoyed the bed and bedding, very comfortable.

    Everything about the cabin was perfect. Heated floors in the bathroom, ocean view from the couch and dining table. It’s was very private and relaxing. The wildlife was excellent as always.
