CanadaWe just got back from staying here for a week and LOVED IT! They gave us a few complementary things (coconuts, bottle of wine, etc. during the stay and just seemed genuinely happy to have us! The bungalows are awesome, with A/C in the bedrooms (extremely necessary).
We were with our 18 month old toddler and the following was awesome with a kid:
- less than a block’s walk to the beach (chill dirt road)
- ground level bungalow and fully gated property so pretty safe for her to run around
- a smaller pool in addition to the big pool that she could stand in (she’s 80 cm tall) and has an umbrella so it can be fully shaded
- had her own air-conditioned room (and they provided a big pack-n-play/crib)
- no breakfast, but just 50 m toward the beach is an amazing breakfast place that we went to every morning (Bridgett’s Ranch - so many animals, wild and domesticated!)

Costa RicaLa Lola is one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was super clean and new, the kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless, with extremely comfortable beds, blackout curtains and A/C.
It was magical being surrounded by the jungle, we got to see monkeys and toucans in the trees while hanging out in the pool. It’s completely secluded, yet in a very convenient location. The beach was about a 5 minute walk away from the house. Our kids took a surf class while my husband and I drank margaritas at one of the beachside restaurants. I highly recommend the house and the entire experience. If I ever come back I will definitely stay here again.

United StatesThe house is right across the street from a beautiful black sand beach. Bedrooms had air conditioning. Open air living areas helped bring in the sights and sounds of nature. Yoshi helped us check-in and answered all our questions, gave us recommendations for taxis and dining, and was easily accessible via WhatsApp.
