Upon arrival, greeted by the owners. Warm welcoming and description of home amenities and local attractions. Irazú volcano is very close. Olla crater is down the road. Area was super safe and relaxing. Incredible view day or night. Home felt like traditional countryside just like locals live, made us relive childhood memories. Will definitely return to this specific home next time we come to Cartago.

If you want to feel the real Costa Rica, far from the crowds and close to pure natural beauty, this is the perfect spot. The accommodation itself is spotless, cozy, and very well maintained. Everything feels warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the host. Extremely kind, attentive, always helpful, and ready with great advice from the moment we arrived. You really feel taken care of here — like visiting a good friend who genuinely wants you to have the best experience possible. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, nature, and true Costa Rican hospitality. A beautiful place and a beautiful experience.
