The location was fantastic with views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The owners were extremely gracious..the food delicious..the hiking fantastic..we met a local farming family while hiking and they graciously fed us lunch..

📍😄 By far the best place you can pick for a real caboverdian experience. You will have to walk about 45-1h to reach this beautiful place. Note that it is in the middle of nowhere. The apartment features two good-sized bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area, large bathroom, plus a well-stocked kitchen. The ample sunlight and cooling ventilation makes it comfortable all day long. The setting is tranquil and pleasant within a fertile garden in the spectacular valley above Ribeira Grande, very close to town. You can walk to local markets, eateries, and stores in 10 minutes. The staff is very helpful and friendly, ready to assist with any matter and offer produce from the garden. This is also a great location to do most of the spectacular drives around the island or choose any of the stunning hikes available in the mountains or coastline. We stayed longer than we planned because we loved it so much.
