Stayed as a family over New Year. This is a premier property in Sandown, one that I have wanted to stay in for a while and probably the best accommodation available in the area, which goes someway to justifying the premium price. The space in this property is endless; set over four floors, -1 is a garage with table football and a rear entrance leading to drive with parking space for two cars; the ground floor has three bedrooms, one with ensuite, a family bathroom (with a bath) and a utility room - plus good size space for coats and shoes by the front door- which opens directly onto Culver Parade, which is across from the beautiful sandy beach. The first floor contains an open plan kitchen that was equipped with all necessity items, inclusive of Prosecco (left for us on arrival) and some milk and tea making facilities - a nice touch after our ferry journey. On this floor there are balconies front and back, to the front overlooking culver down cliffs, the Sandown pier and of course the endless beach. The rear balcony has views of the hills. On the second floor, a further two bedrooms- one was ensuite; and another bathroom also situated on this floor - four bathrooms in total throughout the house. The balcony overlooking the sea at the front of the property, off of the bedroom, was a sun trap (even over New Year); and the balcony at the rear was an elevated view of the hills. All in all, the property spans approx 2,000 sq ft area, providing endless space, and, although pricey, the views, comfort and superb facilities make this a must stay. Island Holiday Company, who manage the property, did a fabulous job in ensuring it was meticulously clean and fridge stocked with the minimum essentials for an arrival cuppa. Would highly recommend.

    Great place to stay. The restaurant and shops are amazing as are the staff. The lemon cake is lush! The cottage was cosy and warm and had all you needed for your break away. Fluffy towels and a very comfy bed. Great fir dogs, as each cottage has an enclosed garden. The resident Peacock pays a visit, and you can watch red squrriels from the restaurant feeding from the feed stations.
