Exceptionally beautiful location and spectacular balcony/sitting area. So peaceful and calm. We loved visiting with the kittens and drinking our tea/coffee looking at the gorgeous view and breathing the fresh air. Hosts were so helpful and kind. We hope to return!!

This villa was one of the best we stayed in Crete. The view to the mountains is amazing, the house is big, well-designed and clean. The kitchen is great and well equipped. The owner is very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay

The apartment is lovely and recently renovated, with a unique and beautiful aesthetic. It was very clean, with thoughtful amenities and welcome gifts, such as some local grapes and spirits. We especially loved the air conditioning - the place was always cool, even in the middle of the day. The host was responsive and very welcoming. Would definitely come here again!

We had such a great time at Elaida Home! Stayed there with the family and really loved it. The place is super spacious, super clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials, and having two bathrooms was a big plus. The kids had so much fun outside, and we loved chilling on the balcony with that amazing mountain view. The hot tub was a great touch too! The area is super quiet and peaceful, but still just a short drive to Platanias or Chania. Most evenings we’d head to Platanias for coffee and dinner, then come back to relax in the calm surroundings. Dimitris is such a nice guy—really friendly and made us feel right at home. Thanks a lot, Dimitris! Totally recommend this place for families or friends who want a comfy, quiet spot to enjoy Chania!

Clean villa, comfy beds, toys for the kids, WIFI worked great, but the best thing was the outside area - we simply LOVED the garden, Epas who's a wonderful host did such a great job with the vegetables, fruits, hot tub, grass and everything - great experience (especially if you have kids) we enjoyed the best tasting tomatoes there.. The area is rural and beautiful and close to wherever you need, a great choice if you want to enjoy Chania and the area, but stay a bit out of the crowds as we did. Great Tavernas and beached 10 mins away. As anywhere in Crete, a car is always recommended for the best experience.

    Mike Omalos place was absolutely wonderful, it’s location the most peaceful and beautiful ever. Left us feeling like it’s us in our little cabin vs the rest of the world. Nothing outside except beautiful scenery, lots of goats, the sound of their bells the soundtrack to the experience. Mikes hospitality is also unmatched: starting off the trip with a chat with him, some raki and some sweet treats was a right dream. Thank you Mike ❤️

    The place is located right on the verge of samaria gorge entrance. Great location. Very clean. Each house has a litttle fireplace and some soffas and tea and coffee so we enjoyed our stay inn the cold evening before the trip

    Everything. Great welcome from Mike and his partner. The house is very charming and has everything you need. The terrace is very pleasant and the view is magnificent. If you want peace and quiet, this is ideal! Lots of goats in the valley and a few frogs visited us. We will remember above all the kindness of Mike and his companion, we would have spent the evening with them :)

    - Very quiet and cosy, we enjoyed the solitude after a few nights at large hotels. - The house is nicely furnished and well equipped. - Very friendly host, we were welcomed with homemade pastries and got great tips about the region. - The Omalos region is great for hikes and a nice contrast to the coastal regions and beaches.
