We enjoyed very much our stay. Breakfast were very generous and delicious, highly recommended. Hosts were welcoming, very friendly and always helping us whenever we were in need - thank you again, we felt like at home :)! House and garden are beautiful, property is in calm area - perfect place to relax! With our suite and private terrace we also felt we have lots of privacy. We also were surprised by the basket with food gifts at the arrival with delicious fruits, wine and snacks. We hope to come back in the future :)

Excellent location. Comfortable. Nicely decorated. The showers were great and all 4 could shower without running out of hot water. Well stocked kitchen. Nice welcome treat. Lots of room. Terraces were lovely with beautiful views. The three bathrooms ( one on each side level) were definitely welcome.

Location was fantastic, super clean, well thought out amenities for the renovated old town property. Close to Fortezza entrance, supermarket, and traditional bakery. Old and modern mix well in this place. The beds are comfortable, two bathrooms, hot tub in the patio area was really a huge bonus as we were here during a cold spell. Owner had great communication with us before and during our entire stay. He met us punctually at the private parking area for the property as it has a remote for the gate. So if you have a car, you don’t need to worry at all about parking in the old town because you have your own parking! You will need to walk just down the street a minute to the accommodation and the streets are cobbled. Then he showed us everything we needed to know to enjoy our time fully in the home and around town.

The place is a huge luxury apartment with two floors, in the best possible location of the city. All rooms have separate air conditioners. There are four balconies of which two are on the roof on opposite sides of the building. The living room has an electric organ which the kids had a lot of fun playing on. The view from the roof balconies is heavenly. We were also able to check in a little earlier and check out a little later than stated when booking. The city was very, very nice. Stopping the car and dropping of the luggage along the street was convenient. We moved the car to the Venetian Harbor parking, which cost us around 15 euros for a day.

This was truly a rare find, a very private and delightful stay in the foothills of the small village of Maroulas, yet not so far from Rethymno. This traditional Greek apartment was well equipped with a lot of charm. I extend my sincere gratitude to Babis for his warm hospitality and generosity.
