Great villa 100 yards from the waterfront and wonderful restaurants . The communication was very good and all questions were answered really quickly. The villa itself was really relaxing in a quiet area but close to everything , it has a lovely garden and pool area whilst inside is really spacious and comfortable. What more do you need , would definitely stay again. Zaton Valiki is really quiet but that is what we wanted , nice walks fabulous swimming and snorkeling and at least 3 good restaurants . There were more but we did not try them , Knoba Capo was our favorite and in our opinion the best value .

The location is great, so long as you have a car (which we did). You can walk to Zaton Veliki - about 10 minutes - where there is a beautiful sea front, several really great restaurants (Konoba Capo next to the pier was our favourite), boat trips, cashpoint - just a beautiful place. The beds were comfortable and the pool is absolutely great. Table-tennis is a nice optional extra, and the barbecue facility is good too. Everything you need is provided. Parking was convenient. As others have noted, without a hire car this could be quite problematic. There are a couple of supermarkets within a few minutes drive - but a very long walk, as they are the next village down in Zaton Mali. There is a bakery is Orasac. At the time of writing, the pizza restaurant at the bottom of the road was permanently closed, as was the supermarket within Zaton Veliki. For us, this was not a concern as we had a car - but without one, this might not be the right place for you.

Villa Dubravka is an amazing location for a holiday and even better than the photos show. Zaton is a charming small town on the sea with a few good restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. The villa itself is right on the waters edge and swimming each morning in the sea was a highlight. The house is large, clean and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We loved playing water polo in the pool and kayaking on the sea in the kayaks. Darko the owner is a lovely man and so helpful. He is always available to help or give tips on what to see / do. Thanks Darko for the loan of your beautiful house !

The location of this property was incredible. We didn’t leave the beach which had everything we needed. The beach is very popular and while we were there it was really crammed with people (but we liked that as the same people were there every day and helped keep an eye on the kids) . The house is very spacious, more so than the pictures and all bedrooms have air con.

Bus to Dubrovnik stops right in front of the property (no bus stop sign but ask the exact spot from the hosts). Very nice and accommodating hosts, who also helped me with the bus timetables. Calm location and nice host that gives you all the tips about surroundings. In Zaton you have some nice restaurants and small shops, basically everything you need to survive the holiday. Apartment was cozy and there was no noise from the outside.
