We loved the animals roaming around! The setting was beautiful! The home was adorable and very comfortable! We wished we had booked it for two nights instead of just one! Short walk to Letterfrack and a close drive to Clifton and Kylemore Abbey! Absolutely lovely farm cottage! We loved it and would love to return someday!

    What we liked - the location near huge empty beaches, retention of old-style cottage feel while also being clean and well-equipped, good wifi, friendly hosts, comfortable beds, loads of books and games. This is a perfect house if you want to get away from it all and walk for miles in the wild and feel the wind in your hair and have a refreshing cold dip in the clearest water you've ever seen. Then, refreshed, enjoy seafood and Guinness in Clifden!

    Flaherty cottage was amazing, great location for exploring connemara, the perfect setting and dog friendly, only few minutes walk to white sandy beaches of mannin bay. The place was spotless and had everything we could possibly need, had lovely cosy stove for the November evenings.Great host who checked in regularly and gave great detailed recommendations. We will be definitely back again soon.

    The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet. The host was always helpful and kind. I must also appreciate the kitchen equipment, where we did not miss anything during our stay. The accommodation was wonderfully cosy and perfectly complemented the overall Connemara experience.

    Located right on the main road between Roundstone and Ballyconneely, this lovely cottage is a great base for exploring Connemara. The house is modern, clean and well maintained. We stayed in winter and it was warm, dry and cosy. It could easily accommodate larger families or groups. It’s a ten minute walk to the nearest town (Ballyconneely) but in a car everything is easily accessible.
