My stay at Lake Como in Franco's charming house was simply delightful! From the moment I arrived, Franco's warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The location is up on the hill, with the rooms spread over an exceptional nice garden (large lavender plants included :)). The staff is very friendly, really paying attention for the guests to feel spoiled. The small restaurant is not to be missed - the food is delicious and the atmosphere is cosy!

This was a great place to stay. We had a beautiful lake view from our room. The host was great! She was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped. The fridge is a good size. Although, the bed was a little firm for us. There's a beautiful view from the pool as well. You can walk down to the beach on a path down the mountain. I do recommend getting a car from the airport for traveling to and from the airport, along with going out to eat. Most of the resturants we went to are about a 5-10 minute car ride. Overall very good experience and such a good host!

    +++ Comfy retreat from the city. Hammock and all. +++ Breakfast, staff Of course there are animals and some critters in the "farmland" type of ecosystem where the inn is. Maybe a little chilly in the night. Drive is actually NOT bad with sedan type of car as long as there is not much incoming traffic. Refrigerator/water kettle in the room would be nice add-on.
