Great host and property. Felt like home.

Our stay at Castello di Vezio was one of the highlights of our Lake Como trip. The property offers several accommodation options, some located within the castle grounds and others nestled along the charming streets outside the castle gates. We were assigned one of the villas outside the gates, and while we were initially curious about the location, any hesitation disappeared the moment we stepped inside. The villa was absolutely beautiful—a spacious three-bedroom home spread across multiple levels, impeccably maintained and thoughtfully appointed. Everything was spotless, and the care taken in maintaining the property was evident in every detail. We appreciated it so much that we did our very best to leave it in the same pristine condition in which we found it. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and the gardens and grounds were simply stunning. The views over Lake Como are breathtaking and provide the kind of scenery that photographs struggle to capture. Whether enjoying breakfast, wandering through the gardens, or simply taking in the panorama, every moment felt special. The location is another major advantage. The property is conveniently close to the Varenna ferry terminal, making it an ideal base for exploring Bellagio, Menaggio, and the rest of Lake Como. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the warmth of the hosts and staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely committed to ensuring we had a comfortable and memorable visit. Their hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like valued friends. Castello di Vezio combines history, character, spectacular views, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Como.

In nice village on Lake Como.

The location was exceptional right at the top of the mountain. The view was worth all the drive. The host was very helpful and accommodating.

The hosts met us and helped us get settled. She was super nice and even gave us new laundry soap for our dirty clothes. She also provided us very comfortable pillows and beddings. Amazing view from the balcony, love it!

20 out of 10! This is an absolutely stunning villa, elegant, sophisticated and high-end quality in everything. It is located in a very quite place with no noise and offers unforgettable viewers over the lake and the Alpes. Its cleaning level is 5*, it is just absolute. Beds (especially the main bedroom) are large and very comfortable with high quality visco mattresses. Bathrooms are classy and very spacious and comfortable. The host was highly professional, friendly, always available, left us water and some complimentary food as we arrived very late and gave us highly useful advices to explore the area and buy quality food. It was a wonderful stay in all senses!

You need a car to drive up the hill not really walkable to the town. Parking was good. Please note this is an upstairs apartment with someone living downstairs . Which is fine but in our case they played very loud video games at night. The host responded and said he would try to reach out but it was another renter so nice he offered but didn’t really help. Very nice view and pretty quiet neighborhood.
