The house had a beautiful design I. A great location. It was walking distance from everything. It was well appointed with a lovely kitchen and beautiful bath. The shared garden was lovely and everything was immaculate. Very easy checking in and the manager was very responsive.

I was a little late finding lodging for our trip, so we regrettably only stayed for 1 night as this place was booked for the rest of our time in Kanazawa - but WOW. Truly amazing place, and Hitty was so incredibly kind to us. He shared the house’s history with us & even brought us up into another part of the house to share some samurai era relics with us. We were personally met by Hitty & given sweets when we arrived, so make sure you give him an accurate time of arrival - we ran late on a tour but he was so gracious and kind about it. He made us a dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant and we had an amazing meal. 10/10, highlight of our trip so far & we will be back!!

great location with a well maintained beautiful and fully functional house our host was exceptional he was very informative on the house and what to do and were to eat in the city -- added bonus he picked us up at the train station on our arrival and helped arrange for a taxi for our departure
