Cottages in Battambang

OK, it's hard to rate or compare this to another hotel. This is an experience unique to itself. The owner of the hotel built the bamboo bungalows himself by hand. The entire structure and furniture is all bamboo. The food was absolutely delicious and the owners are so kind and go out of their way. If you want a rustic experience and a chance to relax then this is your place. It has a shared bath area and you use a sistern full of water and a scoop to wash yourself and western style toilets. It has a great sunset on the 2 level structure out back. They have 2 bikes you can borrow to expore. This place allows you to emerce yourself in the local culture.

Staying here brings that feeling of nature and tranquility. I love the garden, the amazing sunrises from your balcony, the lush greenery around the property and the sound of nature from the singing birds to the breeze. I really enjoyed the traditional Khmer design and architecture too around the property and my villa. It was such a very peaceful stay, nice to lay on a hammock by the pool. Attached to the property too is a restaurant and bar so it’s perfect when you just to unwind at the pool. The staff is great. SreyOwn, Danou and YaYa bring a friendly atmosphere. They’re all very helpful and make sure your stay is a great one.

It was in the prime location. Close to city attractions as well as some cultural attractions around the area. Despite that, the environment around the place was very calm and quiet. You can even hear the animals at night softly. The host was very friendly and genuine, I could tell. Felt really welcomed. He even upgraded us to the villa!

Very nice house, little far from city if you’re planning on going back and forth. Needs more cooking utensils to make use of kitchen
