Host helped me arrange a tuk tuk to take me to Adam's Peak. He was also kind enough to inquire if I was ok to find a place to eat. Finally, he volunteered to drive me to the train station. Much appreciated given my luggage. Thank you. My accommodation is meant to have a shared living area and shared bathroom which I overlooked in reading the property description. All worked out fine as I was the only guest.

The hospitality was great. Appreciate all services provided by the property. The Manager /Caretaker was a very good person who made our stay very comfort and safe. The tea provided was awsome and up to hotel standard. I stayed with my daughter one night. Hope to come again with my whole family.

Meals were excellent. They have a great chef for Indian and Sri Lankan cooking. We decided to eat all our meals in the bungalow for the great local cooking rather than go into nearby towns for probably disappointing meals. The service was great and Murali, the manager on site, has lovely energy and was always ready to help, give suggestions, and share information. We enjoyed taking short trips and also walking on the tea estate trails. We felt very safe throughout the time. You have to love old-fashioned charm like we do. Don't expect modern boutique facilities! We hope they don't try to modernize because otherwise they will lose the charm. It's all just right, and we would definitely go there again.

House above the village with amazing view and for us even more beautiful ….that you are in the middle of all this vegetable fields that you can just sit on the balcony and enjoy. Family is super friendly, they can prepare you breakfast and also a dinner ( the soup with garlic toast was fantastic). We had quite bad weather and we liked it…so it must be super magical in nice weather?? Thank you very much!

The Langdale is a slice of heaven. True old world charm, in the most beautiful old historic hotel where you feel as if you are a guest in someone's home. Small and understated. The view from the balcony room is unforgettable. A place to enjoy a good cup of tea, looking at the tea plantations that surround you. And you can also see the historic Radella cricket ground from the hotel. My only regret is that I had to come alone on this trip, so couldn't enjoy the beautiful lawn tennis court.
