Clean Place. Very Calm and Serene.

Absolutely beautiful stay - the friendliest staff and the best food we had in all of Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, they arranged our safaris for us which were fantastic and the staff were so kind with our baby girl. The pool was beautiful and so clean, the rooms were lovely. Honestly can't think of a bad word to say!

We definitely had a "wow" effect upon check-in, property is very nice, very quiet, we just wish we could have stayed longer as it was a one-night stay only, with a very early check out due to safari trip.

We had the best 2 night stay here - it’s as good as the reviews! We had such a warm welcome from Siri who set the business up many years ago which is now run by his son, Amila (not sure if my spelling is correct) and team, he is the perfect host and good fun too! Everything is spotlessly clean and our room had all we needed. Comfy bed, decent shower, air con worked well. We loved having sundowners in the comfy seats outside our room overlooking the water. Put plenty of deet on in the evening though, there are lots of insects/mosquitos. The food is superb, the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. We loved the Sri Lankan curry so much we had it both nights. They have beers if you want them but are also happy if you bring your own wine (we bought some in the supermarket in Tissa). Breakfast was a feast, following another review we had the Sri Lankan breakfast which was great. We walked up to the street to look at other bars/restaurants but ate all our meals at Richards - it’s so fresh, cooked to order and high quality why go elsewhere! Amila arranged our safari for us and it was the best day. Dilip was our driver and guide and he was superb at making sure he beat all the other drivers to get us the best views. We saw far more animals than most other people there that day, including the prized leopard. He really understood the jungle and the animals which meant we had a great day with him. We had breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks provided - there was plenty! The pool area is great, the right mix of sun and shade. This place is a gem, you won’t regret staying there! Thanks to Siri, Amila and Dilip for a wonderful time.

Its a beautiful villa very close to yala national park. It was comfortable and clean and exceeded our expectations.. would definitely recommend the host and staff for a wonderful stay . We booked a safari as well at a bargain rate through the host

This is incredibly perfect place for a family that is managing by super nice family (thank you so much Anusha for all your kindness). The villa is cozy and has everything you need, the rooms are very comfortable and pool is amazing. The villa is located near the pound where you can watch different birds and even alligators. We were not much disturbed by insect and reptilians but at the same time you are in the centre of nature. The managing family is happy to provide you with breakfast, lunch and dinner for a very good price, we enjoyed it a lot. Definitely would come back

If you ever dreamed of a Tarzan and Jane romantic venue in a tree house built over a tropical river, this is for you! Fabulous setting in riverside garden, the 3 treehouses are a work of art and every detail bespeaks creative craftsmanship. There’s a hotel with pool next door, and your host provides a pre-safari packed breakfast at 0500!

Room was large with comfortable bed. Bathroom was very clean. Restaurant food was excellent.
