Hosts - lovely people who made me feel at home. Location - beautiful view from the room. A little far from town but really no trouble to either walk up the hill or get a tuk tuk. Room - very nicely set and large, comfortable bed. Breakfast - very plentiful, lovely home-cooked meal.

A super beautiful property with a flower garden, spring fed pool, abundant fruit and spice trees and a big yard. The rooms were super comfy and quiet and the food was the most delicious food we had in Sri Lanka! The Caretaker Ratne was an absolute gem! He helped us with anything we needed and even gave us some Sinhalese language lessons. We had the best time spending time with him, learning Carrom and playing badminton. It was truly one of our favorite homestays. We felt like family and we were sad to leave.

Fantastic hosts - communication was great and they really went above and beyond for us. The team are great and take care of everything. We travelled with 2 young children and they excelled at entertaining and catering for them - felt like a home away from home. Pool area is stunning with unbelievable views. Breakfasts and dinners were varied and delicious. We liked that the estate had history, charm and felt lived in. A wonderful stay with wonderful people. By all means it was Royal. Fabulous place with a fantastic staff. Super comfortable and spacious bedroom and bathroom. Delicious breakfast blending western and authentic food. Calm and quiet surroundings with gorgeous mountains view from the room. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend!
