Pearly and Ranjan are incredibly welcoming and warm-hearted hosts. It was a pleasure to talk to them, and they could tell us a lot about Sri Lankan culture. They also gave us great tips what to visit during our stay (in Matale as well as in Sri Lanka). We had an amazing breakfast with fresh fruits from their garden. The room was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. From their terrace you have a stunning view over Matale and the surrounding mountains. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we would love to come back.

Fantastic hosts - communication was great and they really went above and beyond for us. The team are great and take care of everything. We travelled with 2 young children and they excelled at entertaining and catering for them - felt like a home away from home. Pool area is stunning with unbelievable views. Breakfasts and dinners were varied and delicious. We liked that the estate had history, charm and felt lived in. A wonderful stay with wonderful people. By all means it was Royal. Fabulous place with a fantastic staff. Super comfortable and spacious bedroom and bathroom. Delicious breakfast blending western and authentic food. Calm and quiet surroundings with gorgeous mountains view from the room. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend!
