We absolutely loved our stay at The Ridge! The property was easy to find but also nestled in the hills with plenty of privacy and gorgeous views. The decor was modern, simple and clean. We loved the cozy feel and felt right at home. The property also had everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

Our recent stay at this property was a rollercoaster of emotions. Despite encountering initial challenges with our booking not being communicated to the host by Booking.com, I have to say that the house was beautiful and the host was very helpful. Upon arrival, we were disheartened to find the house in an unkempt state, with bedrooms left in used condition by previous guests and uncleaned bathrooms. However, The host was respectful and understood our situation. She let us in and guided us to get some new towels and sheets. We also got credited two thirds of our payment. Although we were unable to fully enjoy the amenities of the house as intended, the host's prompt resolution of the issues and the partial refund provided were appreciated gestures. It's a shame that our stay didn't go as planned, but the kindness and professionalism of the host left a lasting positive impression.

    The perfect place for a romantic weekend. Ruru cottage is surrounded by native bush which is home to many beautiful birds meaning the bird song is amazing. As soon as you arrive you automatically feel relaxed. The king size bed is super comfortable & the bathroom extremely spacious with a rain shower. There is a communal BBQ area with hammock, pétanque & under cover seating. A short walk takes you to a beautiful little waterfall. This is my second time staying & I absolutely love the place.
