As I was there for a family dinner, arranged with the owner, I found the well equipped kitchen, parking, view, table, seating, heat pump of extreme value. In addition, very good mirrors, full mirrors in both rooms and good wardrobes, which is great for getting ready. The storage cupboard/wash area being tucked away was also great for hiding away clutter liker chiller bags and carry alls.

Even though it is a little out of town (Tauranga), really delivers and excels in a quaint, rural environment and comes with all of the modern conveniences that you would expect to find. We were greeted by the hosts upon arrival and shown what to do. The hospitality extended by the hosts was an unexpected delight. Lucky for us, we arrived in avocado picking season and were able to enjoy the bounty of this organic avocado orchard. Forget about Taco Tuesday - this is Taco Supreme! The kitchen is fully kitted out and very good. Some extra farm goodies were supplied, these will depend on what is available at the time (preserves, eggs, etc.). Excellent value for money and we highly recommend!!!

Liked everything. Very cute place in quiet area. Wonderful country views with farm animals, rolling hills and the bay in the background. Daisy the goat is great. Close enough to shopping, eating and beach 10-25 minutes to all.

Monika is amazing, I had a lovely stay. Was shown round her fruit trees and veg patch in a really idyllic spot. The cabin is cosy and beautiful addition of home made bread, jams and yogurt. It was cold and raining when I was there and it was lovely to escape that into the spa. Definitely THE place to stay if you are in Tauranga.

A perfect gateway! The cottage was charming and cozy, with all the comforts of home. The highlight was definitely the hot spa bath, incredibly relaxing and a wonderful treat after a long day of exploring. Impeccably clean and, well equipped and in a beautiful location. The host was amazingly welcoming and the homemade bread and jams were amazingly delicious. We miss Indi (the dog) so much! Will definitely return.

A true little slice of paradise. It was our favourite stay in 3 weeks of b&b hopping across both islands. The accommodation (we stayed in both the main cabin and the smaller one across two nights) is faultless, sparkling clean, comfortable and cosy. The hospitality from M&R is second to none! Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing getaway.
