Tahiti, in general, is the most magical, spiritual, tropical place. If you are traveling to feel something special, then LES CHALET DE AFAAHITI is a MUST!! I came a visitor and left feeling like that was home. The people who care for this property are extraordinary. Efficient, kind, and welcoming. I loved that the housekeeper met us at the gate on the side of the road. We would have never found it if she had not been there. she greeted us with juice and cookies! Amazing.

The price was fair and it was a nice studio. The backyard space was large and spacious with many seating areas. This studio is located in an area where there are mostly locals. I did not see any tourists which I enjoyed. There are plenty of grocery stores, atms and restaurants.

The location of the property is right near the black sand beach and the ocean. Beach towels, water toys and even snorkelling gear is available. We had comfortable sleeping for our 4 adults and 3 children with a full kitchen. The host, Anouk is beyond kind and helpful. Plus it is a 20 minute walk to groceries and food trucks.
