Decent breakfast. In a remote location, but a beach on the Dao river. Very clean and comfortable. The proprietor didn't speak much english but we could communicate well.

This was our first time visiting Caramulo, and BeeCaramulo was a perfect base for exploring. It's right in the heart of the town, so you can walk to the museum, parks, and restaurants. We parked on arrival and didn't use the car again until we left. The hotel is lovely and very comfortable, including a really comfy bed and a huge bathroom with a good shower. We got one of the top floor rooms, which each have a small balcony and hot tub. It was a bit too rainy to use the hot tub this time, but maybe next time. Breakfast was really good, and included delicious little chunks of honeycomb (the hotel name isn't random -- the family that runs the hotel are beekeepers and make honey and other honey-derived products). It really was good. We bought a jar to take home with us. Good experience all-around. We definitely will visit Caramulo again and will stay at Bee Caramulo.

We came here with our two dogs. The area is very peaceful. I spent early mornings walking around and viewing the neighborhood gardens filled with grapes, vegetables and fruit orchards. The weather was too cold for me to jump in the pool but the garden area had hammocks and mediation/resting huts that were nice to use after a day of exploring. Morning breakfast delivery in a basket with fresh bread, orange juice and other goodies was a bonus. Beds were very comfortable and place was cozy.

    Excellent, scenic location, breathtaking views of the countryside. Close to Tondela, Viseu, and surrounding areas. Caroline was lovely, accommodating, and hospitable, and the apartment and pool were meticulous and really well finished.
