Within reasonable driving distance to Astrid Lindgrens Värld, surrounded by beautiful farm setting with some georgeous trails, very kid friendly. We as a family of five with very young children managed very well in the small cabins. The toys, the layout and the animals made our stay exceptional, and the farm tour was a treasured bonus.

Ulrica is an exceptional host of a truly unique property. Her farm is located in the heart of my great-grandfather’s home/farms, so I loved being there. But I think it’s also for anyone who loves cows and appreciates working dairy farm. The beds were extremely comfortable so the night was restful and the sleep was deep. Also, Ulrica went above and beyond to help answer my questions.

We set out on a journey to find the places described in Astrid Lindgren's books. We wanted to show our daughter what the children of Bullerbyn or Emil from Småland might have lived in. The cottage in Skänninge Villerby met all the requirements: a single stove heating all the rooms, no running water, no bathroom, and an outhouse across the road. Despite these limitations, the cottage had its charm.
