Ken and Crystal were so attentive to any of our needs. Breakfast was a gourmet experience. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Ken kept the conversations going among all of the guests as well in the beautiful garden that won my heart seeing the southern roses that only blume in the fall. It's no doubt that they love this historic inn. I hope that you are fortunate as us to stay at the Chestnut Cottage

The location was great, convenient and just down the road from the hotel I was looking at. It was the same price as the hotel room but enough room for my husband and I, the kids and Grandma had the suit on the first floor to herself. Sharing a tiny hotel room with two beds right next to each other would have been a nightmare. Not even a squeak from the wooden floors which is impressive on the stairs. I thought for sure would have been creaky every time the kids went up and down but it was great and the soundproofing on the floors was perfect and the decor was modern and updated. Very nice place
