I love Plymouth!! I was looking for a relaxing place to reset. Quiet Cottage kept coming up in my search! The listing had beautiful pictures that are exactly what you get!!! Beautiful water views at every moment of the day from every window! Gentle lapping of the water that you can't get with any app! The decor is gorgeous and comfortable. I felt right at home. The beds are very comfortable and there are trundles if you need room for four people. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to cook. A coffee pot is an available necessity. There is also a washer and dryer for an extended stay. The living room has a smart television which was great after a long day of beach combing. I was lucky that I had a beautiful March weekend, and was able to sit outside with a book on the lounge chairs in front of the water. The pond is so clean and you can see to the bottom. It was too cold for me to swim, but in the summer it must be refreshing. One of the fun parts was driving down the long driveway. Be prepared to bump around. Definitely easier in my SUV. You will also pass by some beautiful horses that belong to a neighbor. I was close enough to the beaches, stores, gas stations and restaurants. I am so happy I found this little gem and hope to return. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic views and lots of places to enjoy the view regardless of the weather. We found all we needed between the grill, the pantry and the kitchen, and the whole family loved lounging in the sunroom and on the (multiple!) decks.

The property and reviews were just as described. "Retreat Cottage" is the perfect name. It is quaint and right on the waters edge. It makes you feel like you stepped back into the 50's or 60's and are going to your summer cottage on the ocean. If you want a modern, new or remodeled house this may not be for you but if you want a clean, quiet get away with seals and sunrises this is for you. It is also close to many of the things on the cape being only about 25-30 minutes to Hyannis for the ferries to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard, whale watching boats, Plymouth etc. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is close and convenient to downtown Plymouth, and it was very helpful to have the Vacasa sign to indicate the wooded driveway! The cottage is very nice inside, especially with the open layout. The deck is great to sit at overlooking the lake. We really appreciate being able to use Netflix😜. The Vacasa staff are extremely helpful and are easily reachable. They are very prompt to respond via text and email for any assistance or questions. I would book again through booking.com!

    The cottage was amazing! Thank you for sharing this beautiful cottage by the pond that was a dream! We loved the decor, space, and the two bathrooms! Love the comfy beds and the washer/dryers. There were plenty of water toys that, unfortunately, we didn't get to use since we were only there for 2 nights.

    What a beautiful Hidden gem. Absolutely gorgeous views. Beautiful crystal clear pond surrounded by nature. Impeccably clean cabin. Views of nature were amazing turtles fish and birds abound. Neighbors Horses and Bee hives were amazing to see. My GF used the WIFI for work said it worked great! Cabin was Immaculate. I have had major back and orthopedic surgeries the bed was super comfortable woke up refreshed not in pain.

    The view was fantastic, sunrise and moonrise every day! We loved just sitting out on the deck and listening to the seals bicker, the birds poke around in the tidal pools for treats, and the lapping waves. The cottage was super cute and cozy. Would stay there again.
