Very quiet and peaceful area, easy to get to. Host extremely responsive to messages and calls. A smoke detector battery had randomly gone out on a Saturday night and she had a friend come by and replace the battery within an hour.

The home was perfect !! When we arrived about dark we had deer in the back yard. The home was updated and all the amenities of home. Plenty of parking and Neighborhood was really quiet.

Beautifully decorated and cozy. They really thought of everything. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, coffee and coffee bar, Tupperware and even sugar and spices! Beds were comfy and the pillows were even better. The rooms were spacious and accommodated our large family nicely. The beach and zoo were less than a 10 minute drive. The fenced in outdoor space was pleasant. They even thought of extra beach chairs!! The basement was cozy and equipped with a ping pong table too! Great stay, we definitely plan on visiting again!!

First, Michelle the owner, was just delightful to work with and actually checked in with us to see if we needed anything! The cottage was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There was absolutely EVERYTHING you could want or need for a wonderful stay at the beach. We visited and hiked in the Dunes National Park which was a short drive away. The cottage is also close to many wonderful restaurants. We will return if given the chance. This choice was so much more comfortable and reasonably priced compared to other lodging options. Thanks Michelle!!!!

Location. Invigorating climb over the dunes puts you on a virtually private beach with a view of Chicago. And interior renovation was quite well done. So nice to soak in the hot tub, easy to use. Nearby town is coming back from lean times, some good eating options.
