We are a family of 4 (kids ages 12 and 10) and this was our favourite accommodation in Southeast Asia so far (we have been travelling for 6 weeks). The host is wonderfully kind and welcoming. He helped us to figure out what we wanted to do in the area, including a day of hiking and a day with a driver who brought us to a variety of different destinations in the area. The home itself is lovingly and beautifully decorated with the owner's own artwork (stone carvings and photographs). Our family bedroom and the ensuite bathroom had many features that we loved. There was a view of the mountains, rice terraces and Fansipan mountain cable car, and the bathroom had lots of hooks to hang things (a rarity in Southeast Asia, from our experience). We loved eating family dinners together with the whole family, and it was the best Vietnamese food we have had so far in Vietnam. Our daughters played happily with their 3 daughters each morning and night, and we were really sad to leave. It is true that it is a few kilometres from the town of Sapa itself, but we found that to be a benefit not a detriment. Sapa is so touristy, and it can be overwhelming to navigate, especially with children.

If you are a solo traveller this is the place to stay, this is a family owned business so they will take good care of you and help you. If you come to SaPa for meeting the minorities and understanding the life of local people this is a perfect place to stay. They offer you trekking activities with one of their family members, a beautiful funny girl Ai. She will dress traditionally while trekking so it is a nice opportunity to take great pictures with the beautiful landscape and a beautiful traditional woman

The room was clean and on the second floor, with a view of the rice fields. Waking up and seeing the golden rice fields in the morning felt like living in a painting. Zo, the host, was friendly and helpful, always ready to answer our questions.

The stay exceed my expectation. I travel alone this time but made friends with the couple stayed at the bungalow next door. They all lovely. the host took us a short loop to see the village. Then introduce us the treking and motobike tour. I chose to see the landscape with motobike. That’s so fun. Definitely come back!

It's the very definition of "a picturesque and serene hotel". The room is very nicely designed so that the all around paddy fields view can be enjoyed from the glass interiors Ngoc the host and her family were very helpful and friendly..She helped us with our fansipan and the transportation bookings.

    The location is great! It is near the local villages and among the rice fields. Each cottage is very private and cozy. We recommend the place a lot. Sapa is very commercial and this location gives you a better feeling to be on a countryside.
