We had an awesome weekend, the unit was spotless, right on the water. Stunning outdoor shower. Braai and bonfire area with the dam as your view. Not too far from JHB. Incredibly safe, comfortable and we had great fishing as well.

The place is quiet and beautiful, lots of space, kitchen has everything you need. Both downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are nice and comfortable. Awesome fishing. Braai wood and firelighters were supplied. There seem to be no load shedding in that area. A great place for a few days with friends and/or family

    Incredible stay, highly recommend! The cottage was absolutely beautiful, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. It was a peaceful getaway with great fishing and beautiful views. Troya and Craig went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of throughout our stay. We will definitely be back.

    This is a true hidden Gem on the Vaaldam . The owners are amazing people and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. The fishing was fantastic! The cottage is modern and the Finnishes are better than most 5 star hotels. I will definitely book another trip and take my wife along as this is an amazing place for a romantic get away .
