We got the keys from the check-in automat, the house was extremely clean and well equipped with cooking equipment and very nice ambient lights. The private sauna was perfect. Gorgeous chalet in a stunning location, we absolutely loved it! The chalet has fabulous views and was furnished beautifully. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped (though store cupboard essentials were minimal: some salt and oil would have been appreciated). The beds were large and very comfortable and the bathrooms were great too with excellent showers. We enjoyed our visit to the sauna area (additional charge) and whilst there was no washing machine in the chalet, use of the shared laundry facilities was easy and much appreciated. We had quite a few storms during our week, so didn't use the outside space very often, but we all really enjoyed the newly added pool table in the chalet. The hosts are lovely people and were extremely helpful with suggestions of local activities and places to visit. We had a great week, thank you!

Large supermarket very close (M-Preis) There are two Nieslerhof houses (both owned by the same family), back to back, which I missed in the darkness of the evening and went directly to the first one, while Margit, the host who is supposed to meet you, usually stays in the second one. But Margit's mother who met me instead was very welcoming and absolutely tolerant to my caveman German language (only Margit speaks English).
