I’ve been to Calgary on several occasions and have always chosen to stay in hotels. This time, we decided to book this apartment because it was pet-friendly and the location seemed ideal. I can honestly say the accommodation far exceeded my expectations. The first thing I want to highlight is the excellent communication with the hosts and the clear, accurate instructions for accessing the apartment. If you follow the instructions carefully, you won’t have any issues. Everything was impeccably clean, and the location is more than excellent—there are plenty of dining options nearby, including pet-friendly restaurants. Without a doubt, if this apartment is available during my next trip to Calgary, I will book it again. Thank you so much!

Edmonton
The air-conditioned villa consists of 3 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and 2 bathrooms with a hot tub and a hair dryer. A flat-screen TV is offered. The villa offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. The ambiance was amazing and felt just like home. However, although it was listed as “sleeps 7,” the space included only one king bed, one queen bed, and one sofa bed — so the seventh person had to sleep on the recliners in the living room.

I like that it is very clean and well maintained. The place got all the essentials and all the things were in perfect condition. I like that the staff was very helpful. Mark came himself to help us park the car as my truck was more than 6’1” height and couldn’t get into the parking lot space.

Room was very cute and cozy. We used the fireplace at night since it was so cool but the room did have proper heating. The coffee and homemade snacks in theodge were amazing. As was the food in the restaurant. Definitely a favorite of the trip! If you can get a reservation I would do it in advance (all booked for us) but we got take out to eat in our cabin which was just as good 🙂
Room was fantastic. We had a studio with a kitchenette and fireplace. It was so cozy and roomy. Location was perfect, 6 minutes away from the town and close to a shuttle stop. Furthermore, a 3 day shuttle pass was provided free of charge which was unexpected. The hot tub was a delight, with gorgeous views of the mountains and a unique shape that offers guests their own space
Cabin with a loft for two people, so plenty of room. Cooking facilities and a wood fireplace. A complimentary small bag of coffee. Decent bathroom with a good shower. A bit of a deck with chairs. Free laundry! 15 Minute drive to Lake Louise. A workout room and sauna are available. Not particularly crowded while we were there.
We loved the location near the highway, but very close to the river and no discernible highway noise. Welcomed by a herd of elk at hotel access road. Excellent access to Jasper town and scenic drives/walks. Rooms in the lodge part of the hotel are rustic and a little outdated, but fairly priced; next time might try to book a small bungalow/cabin. The restaurant food and the service in the Kumama restaurant associated with the hotel, were excellent. We will be back!
The trip was to chill, relax by the fireplace after the hot tub, and most importantly, away in the countryside. The hotel was great! You can even order bottle of wine to be ready for your check-in time.. Swimming in the hot spring outdoors while it's snowing is just awesome. Especially in the winter!
We travelled USA/Canada for 5 weeks and Canalta Lodge was by far the best value for money. The room is spacious, with lots of floor space for our snowboarding gear. The hotel lobby has a great vibe, with s’mores daily, cosy fireplace, bar and board games. We used the hot tub outside each day after coming back from snowboarding which was awesome. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
The staff at this hotel are excellent, so helpful and although the hotel isn’t modernly decorated (as per other reviews) we found it charming, lodge style like it was supposed to be, family friendly and cozy. The roaring fireplace when you enter was so appreciated, and so was the warm sauna. It’s in a great location, we only stayed one night and then went to stay across the street at Peaks. We said when we come back (because we had such a great time), we are going to stay the whole time at Banff Park Lodge.
