The cottage was perfectly located with lake view and access to lake for kayaking ans other activities. Beautiful deck to enjoy the lake view and share a cup of coffee with friends. Very close to all the city amenities grocery, , health supplies, restaurants, pubs and bars etc. Good neighbours with lots of privacy.

There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I’ve taken my time to write this review because it deserve it. The place is beautiful, Deborah (the host) is lovely and we slept like babies. Something you notice when you are doing a road trip for the east of Canada with a toddler 😅 So the place is also child-friendly. Mostly, baby-friendly as even if the bed is big, is big enough for two adults and one toddler only (ours is 1yr and a half). The cabin is small but very well distribute and so so clean.

The location was absolutely perfect—quiet, scenic, and right by the water. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My family especially loved spending time on the deck and enjoying the beautiful lake views. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommended!

Situated in Bancroft in the Ontario region, Relaxing Riverside Getaway with a Cozy Fireplace features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden views. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. I loved everything about this great little house! We had the place all to ourselves, and accessing the property was done via door code that was sent to us in advance of our arrival via email. Although we never met our hosts in person, they were very nice to deal with through the whole process before and after our stay. The facilities for a "cottage" are great (spacious bathroom with good shower water pressure and temperature, spacious eat-in kitchen, propane BBQ on back deck). There were also cool little features like white noise devices in the bedrooms to help you sleep. The location is great, too, as we walked into town each morning via a pedestrian footbridge and path. I hope to come back and stay here again!
