Rustic wood walls, tastefully Chinese-style decoration and classic works of art add to the charm of this property. The culinary offerings were great - the European-style breakfast was delightful, and the swimming pool provided perfect relaxation. Both the interior and exterior design are truly fantastic, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The staff not only were helpful, but their English language knowledge made communication quite simple. This was one of our longest stops during our travels through China, and we couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here.

I would give this a 1000/10 rating if I could. I have been to many countries and this is the best/favourite accommodation I've ever booked for any holiday. The villa rooms were incredible - amazing view, perfect air-conditioning, spacious beyond belief, tastefully aesthetic. The nicer rooms with the river view are east-facing, perfect for watching the sunrise. There is a tea room and open area on the top floor which I used to host local friends, also having a great view of the river. We also managed to catch the dying embers of the sunset. There is a nice common area on the fourth floor with a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, and a large dining table as well. The host is super accommodating and helpful, offering 24-hour support over WeChat. Whenever I reached out for help for accidentally locked doors or to make minor changes to our booking, he always responded quickly.

Moondance resort have a magnificent location just down by the river, facing the Moonhill, and surrounded by peaceful and relaxing nature. Food is great, staff is kind, room is very clean and spacious. That’s all you need to have your best experience at Yangshuo.
