They live in the neighbouring property and are easy to communicate with at all times. Set on the edge of the village right next to the national park. We saw several monkeys and wildlife from the terrace. We booked excellent trips with Rodrigo who runs the Trips Navitos guided tours. Local guide Gabriel met us at the house for each trip and was an enthusiastic guide throughout our stay. Tortuguera was our favourite stay in Cost Rica and Rodrigo made our trip so memorable. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in town so didn't need to use the kitchen facilities. A place to make great memories.

Great recommendations from the hosts who were the loveliest couple that provided us with information about the area, fresh fruit, and a sense of immediate comfort. Waking up and seeing animals everyday was an added bonus!
